My skincare schedule: a simple weekly routine
You do not need ten products and an hour every night. Here is the simple weekly schedule Flippie shares with customers, with a little extra care on different days so your skin gets what it needs.

Two golden rules first
Do not use too many products. Layering lots of products can overwhelm your skin. A few products you use consistently will do more than a full shelf you use now and then.
Use a facial cleanser to wash. Soap and body wash can strip the skin on your face. A proper facial cleanser cleans without leaving it tight.
The weekly schedule
Cleanse your face every evening, and in the morning too if you like. On top of that, here is the extra care for each day:
| Day | Focus | Products |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | Full routine | Milky Cloud Facial Cleanser, Radiant Bloom Toner, Timeless Serum, Silken Dew Moisturiser |
| Tuesday | Nourishing facial oil | Golden Drop Nourishing Facial Oil |
| Wednesday | Cream and facial oil | Silken Dew Moisturiser, Golden Drop Nourishing Facial Oil |
| Thursday | Serum and cream | Timeless Serum, Silken Dew Moisturiser |
| Friday | Hand lotion | Winter Wonder Hand Lotion |
| Saturday | Nourishing facial oil | Golden Drop Nourishing Facial Oil |
| Sunday | Conditioning oil and lotion | Silk Blossom Conditioning Oil, Winter Wonder Hand Lotion |
Make it your own
Very dry skin? Use Silken Dew every day, not only on cream days. Feeling tight and dull? Add Timeless Serum on more days. Busy week? Stick to cleanse and moisturise, and pick the schedule up again at the weekend. Consistency matters more than perfection.
Do not forget sunscreen
The South African sun is strong all year round. Finish your morning routine with a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher, even on cloudy days.
